Week 29
Por el Elder Mears
Octubre 02 del 2015.
Saludos hermanos y amigos:

The mission of the gospel of Jesus Christ

Week_29_REB
Hi all!

This week was an exciting week! We had another baptism, Jesse! We've been working with him for about a month and a half, and we were excited to see him finally make this step!
We had interviews this week with our mission president, President Richardson. It was cool to spend time with him and his wife here in Key West. We went out to dinner at Rusty Anchor with them and our branch president, President Rengiil. Our mission president gave us some advice for working in this area, and as well, instructed us that he wants us both to begin learning Creole as there are a lot of Haitians in Key West and nobody to teach them.I guess it's supposed to be easier than Spanish, so we'll see how it goes. I'm really excited to start learning it!
Things are starting to cool down a little here, although not very much. We get a lot of really random rainstorms, though, so it keeps it cool enough.
We're excited for General Conference this coming week! It's such a huge blessing to be able to hear from Christ's own apostles and listen to the revelation they've received for the world in the latter days!
I appreciate your prayers, I know that God hears them and answers them!
Love you all!
Elder Mears
